When we take our Family vacations my husband does the driving, I like to see the sights along the way, for me the sightseeing begins. We make the best of it by getting creative and make up new games, snacking at rest stops or eat on the way depending on how fast we are to get there 🙂 we kill time by looking at the map of the attractions and activities, try to map things out like our agenda schedule, the area that we will be going to first and in my mind I’m already making up the meals for the week ( well as I mentioned before my Mother-in-Law helps us out with that in some of our trips by preparing our meals ahead of time) so hopefully we can enjoy more and spend less mealtime planning. One of the sites I discovered & like to go to before we go on the road is “www.roadsideamerica.com“, there are helpful tips and even apps that let you know where are the attractions and awesome things to see and do, where ever you are. Need a hotel pronto? look it up in the hotel search and so much more information, I drove to Orlando once before and got so lost but I am covered now.
