TIME just goes by so fast. It has been a while since I’ve updated or posted anything. I apologize
Although I kept saying to myself its time I get back on track,
keep on doing what I like to do which is blogging and posting on Facebook and not give up doing things I enjoy.
My mom was down visiting for a while. I love my mom and love spending time with her.
Though seeing her progressing into
her older years and not as golden as I’d like them to be, I’ve had the chance to look at the similarities in our fight with chronic pain.
It’s been an eye-opener. I’ve tried to get her to change her diet to a more healthier option for eliminating the pain and the inflammation.
But it seems that it’s harder to do when you’re older because they are so used to the eating habits they’ve always had.
I did get to convince her to have some of my healthy smoothies every so often. I remind her to do her excercises daily and take vitamins as we did when she was here with me.
she says the same thing I say about exercise.
“It was hard enough to exercise when I was feeling good all the time, now it’s even harder to do when I have pain.”
Anyway, to make a long story short my mom was a hand full because she likes to hang out and talk. And we are talkers, LOL.
One of my vacations I took was with me and my mom alone and my little nephew, and I would like to do it again as many times as possible. Those are memories to cherish
She also likes to share her time between me, my brother, my niece and her family, now she’s staying with my niece since she recently had her 2nd child.
Going through another chapter in your life, researching and learning to control the infirmities that come with getting older can be so consuming and frustrating.
Having the love and support of a loving family is truly a big plus.
Years do go by fast. We can’t turn back time and there’s nothing worse than regretting not doing or enjoying yourself enough,
“never got to do certain things” with certain loved ones before they got sick, things like making memories, traveling with them and don’t forget the what if’s.
Get into your family tree and slow down the aging and sickness and start enjoying your lives. Knowing that medical history can prevent so much if we start taking care of our health.
Well, this was supposed to be a short post but as always I get carried away when I talk, and its late. one of the best things for our health is sleep and I deprive myself of it.
Have a blessed evening to all of you and a Happy and Healthy life.
