I STARTED WEARING JEANS WHEN I WAS LIKE 15 OR 16 BECAUSE JEANS JUST DIDN’T FIT. BACK THEN I REMEMBER JEANS WERE BASIC SIZES. I WAS SKINNY AND TALL AND I WAS TALLER THAN SOME OF MY BOYFRIENDS, SOME OF YOU PROBABLY HAD THE SAME PROBLEM RIGHT?
I NEVER FORGET MY FIRST PAIR OF JEANS I WAS ABLE TO WEAR 🙂 WEIRD, I WAS SO EXCITED.
MY MOM TOOK ME TO THE DR TO INCREASE MY APPETITE, HOPING I WOULD GAIN WEIGHT. I HAD ALSO STARTED BUYING A PRODUCT (SOME OF YOU MIGHT REMEMBER BY THE NAME OF WEIGHT-ON) 💪
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY GOOD THINGS DON’T LAST FOREVER.
I WAS YOUNG AND IN MY BEST SHAPE. ALTHOUGH I THOUGHT. AND I WAS EATING ANYTHING I WANTED BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID OF LOSING WEIGHT. MY LATE SISTER USED TO SAY “I GAIN WEIGHT JUST BY LOOKING AT THE TOP OF YOUR FRIDGE” 🙂 WHERE I HAD ALL THE GOODIES)🍩🍪🍰
UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME, I WAS EATING ALL THE WRONG THINGS. MY IDEA OF A DIET WAS ONLY FOR LOSING WEIGHT, I DIDNT KNOW WHAT A HEALTHY DIET WAS.
ANYWAY, YOU COULD IMAGINE MY EXCITEMENT. I MEAN,
I HAD BEEN THRU CHILD EPILEPSY AND ASTHMA WHICH CAME WHEN I WAS IN MY YOUNG TEEN YEARS, ALSO BEING BULLIED ABOUT MY WEIGHT AND MY SISTER BEING THE PRETTY ONE. SO YES, I WAS EXCITED AND YOU KNOW WHEN YOU’RE IN YOUR TEENS(+) YRS YOU’RE NOT
CONCERNED ABOUT MUCH ( NUTRITION WAS THE LAST THING ON MY MIND) I THOUGHT “I’M SKINNY SO IT WON’T HURT ME TO EAT LIKE THIS.”
NEVER THINKING THAT I HAD TO WORRY ABOUT ANOTHER KIND OF GENES.
REALITY STARTED HITTING, AS I GOT INTO MY 40’S.
I STARTED EATING HEALTHY-ER BUT NOT HEALTHY ENOUGH. THE OLDER I GOT THE MORE I UNDERSTOOD THAT WE AREN’T ALL BUILD WITH THE SAME PHYSICAL STRUCTURE. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE.
NOW MY OTHER GENES ARE A GREAT CONCERN. GETTING OLDER IS NOT A CHOICE IT’S A JOURNEY WE ALL HAVE TO TAKE, IT JUST DEPENDS ON HOW YOU WANT TO TAKE THAT JOURNEY.
LOOK AT YOUR KIDS AND GRANDKIDS FACES, DO YOU WANT TO BE IN THEIR LIVES AND BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY ENJOY THEM? MAKE FUN MEMORIES, TAKE FAMILY VACATIONS?
YOU PROBABLY DON’T THINK ABOUT IT MUCH, I KNOW I DIDN’T.
ESPECIALLY BEING A BUSY MOM WITH LIMITED TIME TO YOURSELF OR BUSY WITH YOUR JOB PLUS HOUSE MOM/WIFE DUTIES. AS PARENTS WE SHOULD SET GOOD EXAMPLES FOR OUR KIDS TO FOLLOW. I WAS TOLD ONCE “CHILDREN ARE THE CAMERAS AND WE ARE THE PICTURE THEY’RE TAKING”. WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT WE’RE SETTING THE EXAMPLE AND THEY’RE PICKING UP ON THEM.
AS TIME GOES BY WE SEEM TO GET BUSIER, UNAWARE, WE
GRAB THE BOX DINNERS OR FAST FOODS AND OUR KIDS LEARN TO DO THE SAME INSTEAD OF INSTILLING AWARENESS OF

WHEN I STARTED GETTING MY SYMPTOMS THE MOST FRUSTRATION I WENT THROUGH WAS THAT I FELT I WAS LOSING CONTROL SO DEPRESSION SET IN. NO ONE LIKES THE FEELING OF LOSING CONTROL OF THEIR HEALTH. AND NOT KNOWING OR UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOU IS THE WORSE FEELING.
YOU CANT DO WHAT YOU USED TO DO AND THAT’S VERY FRUSTRATING.
MANY OF YOU HAVE SOME KIND OF AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE BECAUSE ITS MORE COMMON TODAY. IF YOU HAVE CHRONIC PAIN YOU HAVE MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR PAINS JUST AS I DID. YOU AREN’T ALONE AND THE BEST YOU CAN DO IS EDUCATE YOURSELF AND LEARN TO MANAGE IT WITH MEDICATION, NUTRITIONAL THERAPY, EXERCISE AND PLENTY OF REST. ( THE HARDEST FOR ME IS THE LAST TWO, BUT IM TRYING 🙂 THEN WE CAN BEGIN TO ENJOY OUR LIFE AGAIN.

THE CENTRAL NERVE SYSTEM BECOMES HYPERSENSITIVE AND CAUSES WIDESPREAD PAIN. BUT IT’S NOT NEUROLOGICAL. RECEPTORS IN OUR LIGAMENTS, MUSCLES, SKIN AND JOINTS DETECT TISSUE DAMAGE AND THAT DAMAGE CAN BE FROM INFLAMMATION, INJURY OR DISEASE. TAKING SUPPLEMENTS AND VITAMINS DOES ALLEVIATE THE LEVEL OF MUSCLE AND NERVE PAIN AND NUTRITIONIST TALK ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF EXERCISE, YOGA AND

HAPPY, HEALTHY, FIT = THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH DON’T YOU AGREE? IT’S NOT SURPRISING THAT WE ALSO SHOW SIGNS OF THE BENEFITS IN OUR SKIN. I SOMETIMES BREAKOUT IN RASHES AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT STRESS HAS A LOT TO DO WITH THAT.
